TE Annual Meeting of Members June 11 at 10 am


The annual meeting of the membership of TE will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 10 am. There will be coffee and bagels at 9:30 am. The membership will vote on the officers and directors for the fiscal year 2017-2018 and for the TE fiscal budget for 2017-2018. more

Please join us on Tuesday, May 30th at 7:00 pm for the Erev Shavuot service and Confirmation ceremony. We will celebrate the Festival of Shavuot and the giving and receiving of the Torah with this year’s Confirmands who will participate in leading the service. Don’t miss this special service, which will also include Yizkor (memorial service). more

Sunday, April 30th. 9:30 am bagels, 10:00 am program with Leona Schwartz presenting “Uncle David, Also” Nostalgia seekers, history buffs, and TV trivia experts will enjoy this program on The Goldbergs, which ran from 1929 to 1946 on radio, and from 1949 to 1956 on television. This comedy featured the home life of a Jewish family in the Bronx, and evoked the family struggling with the challenge of assimilation while maintaining their traditions. Beckerman Jewish Film Series: Beneath the Helmet, April 30th at Temple Emanuel


A coming-of-age story which follows the journey of five Israeli high school graduates drafted into the army. At the age of 18, away from their homes, families and friends these young individuals undergo a demanding, inspiring journey, revealing the core of who they are and who they want to be.
